What is a Lightning Protection System?
Lightning protection systems are designed to protect buildings and their occupants from the harmful effects of lightning strikes. Our systems are made up of a series of lightning rods, conductors, and grounding components that work together to safely dissipate the electrical energy of a lightning strike.
The lightning rods will be installed along the highest points of your home and will be connected to conductors used to channel the electrical energy of the lightning strike away from the building and into the ground.
The grounding components consist of copper conductor and ground rods driven into the ground to safely disperse the electrical energy into the earth, preventing it from causing damage to the building or its occupants.
